A Supreme Court had ruled in Leegin v. PSKS, saying now that manufacturers are able to collude with retailers in order to set the minimum prices of products. They made an argument that such a decision would surely be good for competition.
It is now possible that companies such as Best Buy for example, may invest in greater customer service, now that while screwing customers in the process, they are working with manufacturers to get an additional twenty dollars for a DVD player and things of the sort.
